Review on Farberware 10570 Millennium Nonstick 12 Piece Cookware Set in Bronze: Pots and Pans for Effortless Cooking by Linh Hellmuth

Fantastic delicious dishes

Our pots and pans were old, scratched, worn, with pits and some had small pieces chipped off the bottom. They had to be replaced. Cookware sets are either incredibly cheap in price (and quality) or incredibly expensive. I found this set for sale at a good price and threw in the dice. You are great for me and my family. At first they looked a lot smaller than my old sets, but they have thinner walls and the pots are a bit taller than short and fat. Very strong and durable, I've had them for a few months now and they've held up fantastic. No dents or scuffs, no scratches, no scuffs, looks like new. They heat up very quickly and have an even heat distribution over the entire surface. Pots and pans have a textured cooking surface on the bottom to distribute heat and prevent food from burning. No oil, no sprays, nothing sticky, but I usually add some oil or a quick spritz of oil as it adds flavor. These pots boil water much faster than my old ones. It took a few mistakes to figure out that I had to use a lower temperature with them than I'm used to. Easy to clean, durable, even after falling I didn't see anything - not even scratches on the paint. Well, the bronze/copper/tan color isn't that bad. At first I thought it was ugly, but it really isn't. Lids fit perfectly, all handles have grommets (?) but they're pretty short so use oven mitts. The plastic spatula and spoon are nice little additions, fairly sturdy and able to take a bit of weight before bending. If you need a full set of pots and pans this is a great all in one set to buy. It takes a little getting used to depending on what you're replacing, but great value and incredibly high quality. They're thinner, they heat up and stay hotter and faster than other brands. The non-stick coating and scratch resistance are very high and they are incredibly easy to clean. A quick rinse with a kitchen sink hose and hot water will wash just about all of them off, so you won't spend a lot of time cleaning them up. Highly recommended, probably a great gift too.
