I have both versions 1.0 and 2.0. The 2.0 has an improved plastic pin that goes higher and lower than the metal pin. Fantastic to set it to a really high offset. When installed and removed, it can be positioned 5+mm above the nozzle. Very good ground clearance. There were no problems with the installation. You just need to understand and follow the instructions provided with your control board. It's just a "servo" and a hall sensor, but very well constructed. He has helped me get perfect layers on 2/3 of my printers and I will be ordering another one soon.
