Replaced my 2 liter Nathan tank with this and this one is better. No unpleasant, acrid valve bitterness that accompanied my Nathan throughout his life. I like the bite valve cap and detachable hose. I haven't found any leaks at the isolation bushing. The bite valve takes less force to activate than my Nathan bladder. One thing I like and wasn't expecting is the stiffness of this bladder. It doesn't slide down the bottom of my backpack when it detaches from the strap. This thing's walls are a lot thicker than Nathan's. This makes the drying chamber heavier, but I don't notice a significant difference in the packed weight. Your experience may vary. My Nathan also had a large opening for filling and cleaning. This is not as wide as the Nathan, and because of the stiffness mentioned above, it cannot be turned inside out to dry as easily as the Nathan. So far I've had no problem hand drying and then leaving a dry towel in the open bladder for storage. This is a great bladder at any cost and I'm thinking of another way to just replace it at the aid stations.
