Good product. It arrived in neat packaging that prevented it from being tossed around. The metal piece with no glue didn't fit my phone case because it has a credit card holder. I used rectangular sticky metal. For now the adhesive remains on the back of the phone case but I will update this later. I have vertical vents and tried the groove above the bottom vent groove. The phone isn't configured, so I see the display the way I wanted. I tried it on the label below and it was perfect. It obscures the navigation display, but I can live with that. Overall I think it's a good buy and probably best for horizontal vents but works well with vertical vents too. Update: Added 5th star. This is the best holder you can get. I just bought another one for my other car. This solves my main problems with phone holders: - hold the phone and prevent it from falling - the device itself does not fall - this is achieved by allowing you to manually attach the device to the vent; The tighter the better and I haven't had a broken vent yet because it was so tight - Tilt Adjustment - The device allows you to manually control the phone's tilt. You just pull it as tight as you can (it's the round part just behind the magnet) and you can tilt it however you like without moving it. Great price for a great product with a great design!
