Hair Type: Thick, Curly, 4cTravel: For travel, this may be suitable. It's small and doesn't have any extra attachments to pack. Ease of use: I wouldn't recommend trying until you get it right. I've used the device on small areas of my hair and had to brush through my hair 3-4 times (but that's typical and I use a heat protectant). Drying performance: I would not use this as an alternative to blow drying. because I didn't feel the hot air. As an alternative to a flat iron or a hot comb, this device is probably a better choice. Results: I let my hair air dry and then used this device to "straighten" my hair. This gave the effect of blown hair (i.e. my hair wasn't straightened). I'm working on thermal training my hair (I think it's more like less frizzy than silky straight) so I think this might be a good device for that purpose. I don't expect to use this product more than once every 3-4 weeks.
