I am new to reef keeping but have used this product to dip all my new corals before putting them in the tank and have not had any hitchhiking issues so far. You need to put a gallon of aquarium water in a clean container and then soak the cuttings. I definitely found a few hitchhikers at the bottom of the trash can when I finished soaking.
