Speaking of surprises. There aren't many fully cordless or fully cordless hot glue guns in the US. The only other one I know of is AdTech, and that glue gun is, frankly, crap. When I bought this glue gun I was expecting something that wouldn't last long and then I immediately needed new batteries. Well, I ended up pairing the glue gun with the Energizer Ultimate Lithium kit (and if you use a glue gun a lot, I highly recommend using the Energizer Ultimate Lithium as it's considered a high-performance device) and I was blown away. It heats up very quickly, works very quickly, uses mini glue sticks with ease, and works simply and works well, combining the added functionality of a built-in flashlight near the tip, a good trigger, a removable battery, a built-in kickstand, and a viewing window , which some glue guns don't even have. If you are considering purchasing this lightweight glue gun, I HIGHLY recommend it.
