I was skeptical when I ordered this because honestly boiling water isn't hard and I wasn't sure if this device was really needed or just enough. precious storage space. but i love it Our family of 6 eats about 4-5 dozen eggs a week and 90% of them are hard boiled. This is a very light pre-school breakfast and a great snack in the middle of a busy day. So this egg cooker was great and saved me a lot of time. Add a small amount of water (use the included mug to get the right measure), poke a small hole in the bottom of each egg (also using the included tool), press the power button and away you go . I usually do 1 full dozen at a time and it takes about 24 minutes. It turns off at the end of cooking and makes no noise. To clean, just wipe away the moisture with a kitchen towel or paper towel and then put it back in the box until next time. The eggs are perfectly cooked and easy to peel every time. No guesswork about cook time, no blanched eggs, no cracked eggs and no messy pot to clean up. Always perfect! Definitely recommend.
