Review on Scotch Permanent Glue Stick MMM600824S by Lori Aguirre

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Stick to whiskey for a performance to rival any other!

Scotch (3M) rivals any competitor for overall quality and performance in glue sticks, be it Avery, Elmer's, UHU or Crayola. I've tried them all in a variety of applications. Here's the summary: PROS: 1. 3M uses a proprietary manufacturing process that makes their adhesive clearly the best on the market. Just compare yourself.2. The tape slides easily over most surfaces unlike other brands.3. Scotch Sticks have a significantly longer shelf life (SSL) and are resistant to drying out. I have been using unopened sticks after 7 years and they have worked flawlessly compared to Avery, UHU and Elmer's.4. Photo-safe, acid-free and non-toxic per industry standards and ASTM D42365. It is easily washed out of clothing without damaging or violating the integrity of the fabric. CONS: 1. Small 0.28 oz. The standard size wand size doesn't last long on most projects. RECOMMENDATIONS: 1. The best permanent glue stick on the imo market.2. Buy in bulk for the best deal: 24.28 ounce box. Sticks (Revain) are priced at $11.84 at the time of writing and keep well unopened. Much cheaper than Scotch permanent purple glue sticks which are extremely expensive and hard to find in most stores. Exactly the same technology and performance as long as you don't need the vanishing purple feature. HAPPY GLUING!

This is the only glue stick I will use. Have used it to make several hundred greeting cards.
