I like the width of the insole and the space in the toe area. Good cushioning - ideal for traveling in France. The heel is a bit too wide for me, but can be easily corrected with heel straps. At first I thought the pattern on the fabric would look "old" but it wasn't really visible so no problem. I pulled on a contoured insole from Erdschuhe and had the perfect hiking boot for Europe.
