I’m a professional dog trainer & love this lead for starting off leash work with pups. It’s lightweight, does great dragging through the elements and is easy to wrap together when done. This is an excellent tool to build distance into a pup’s training sessions, since most leashes only give about 6’ without pressure. With that said, it is NOT a leash. The clasp is exceptionally lightweight (as other reviewers mention) and the material is uncomfortable to hold due to its shape/texture. I use this mostly as a back up solution should a pup get distracted during training (so there’s no pulling or consistent pressure applied to the lead). I have recommended this to multiple clients & everyone who has used it with that intention has loved it.
