Highly Recommend, very sturdy and comfortable

The comfort of the grip is excellent! Super comfy. The stretch of the leash is good while still being sturdy. It looks great, too. I’ve purchased two of these already. I highly recommend this leash.

Pros
  • Seems well made and our young dog likes it for playing ball.
Cons
  • The long rope may pose a safety risk in busy areas

Wish I would have ordered the thicker one

Will be ok for quick tie up, but does feel good in your hands as a leash for walking any distance. Buy a thicker one. A long leash may encourage a dog to pull instead of walking at a calm pace!

Pros
  • A sturdy dog leash that is barebones. Good product with no frills.
Cons
  • A long leash may encourage a dog to pull instead of walking at a calm pace

Replacement for old leash

I like the round shape of the leash as it doesn't seem to tangle like the flat one I had previously. Just received it so don't know how it will hold up compared to previous leash. Lightening fast delivery.

Pros
  • The long rope leash gives your dog more freedom, and you have more control over them
Cons
  • The leash can be expensive compared to other types of training equipment

Great training long line

I’m a professional dog trainer & love this lead for starting off leash work with pups. It’s lightweight, does great dragging through the elements and is easy to wrap together when done. This is an excellent tool to build distance into a pup’s training sessions, since most leashes only give about 6’ without pressure. With that said, it is NOT a leash. The clasp is exceptionally lightweight (as other reviewers mention) and the material is uncomfortable to hold due to its shape/texture. I use this

Pros
  • Pet Supplies
Cons
  • The long leash may not be suitable for dogs with respiratory issues

Great for recall training

Purchased to use for recall training with my high energy dog. The length was perfect to let her get quite far and then know she needs to come back

Pros
  • Long Leash for Dog Training: This long leash rope diameter 1/3 inch can meet small, medium dogs, cats or other small animals, puppies. The diameter of 1/2 inch and 2/5 inch is the best choice for training strong small medium or large dogs.
Cons
  • Dogs may become distracted by the feel of the long rope

Does not tangle! on my review.

I am very pleased with this rope. It does not get tangled up and it easy to hold. The puppy doesn't like to chew at it and it is perfect for taking him outside,

Pros
  • It's a great leash only issue is the rubber cover likes to slide down.
Cons
  • The rope can easily become twisted if not used correctly

Long lease - my new review

Very sturdy however I have small arthritic hands that cannot hold the handle. I have to anchor around my wrist… but that works.

Pros
  • it wasn't as sturdy as i thought, my dog already broke it
Cons
  • Can be dangerous if your dog takes off and can cause severe rope burn. I would not recommend

Love these long leads!

Love these long leads. The clasp was a little wimpy and i worried that my dogs would break it if they charged something but they haven’t broken it yet! We are waiting to fence in our backyard and so these leads help to let the dogs roam on their own (with supervision). Im also looking forward to using them at the lake to let the dogs swim a little without taking me in with them!

Pros
  • Nice lease
Cons
  • Dogs may try to chew on the rope during training sessions

easy to manage, doesn't get tangled

Great long lead, easy to wind up and release during walk. Doesn't kink up or get knotted. Love the color It may not be appropriate for use in areas with a lot of pedestrians.

Pros
  • Provides a good option for recall training with the long rope leash
Cons
  • It may not be appropriate for use in areas with a lot of pedestrians

Good value, decent workmanship

I purchased a 12 foot and 30 foot version of this leash for my new large breed puppy. It’s been worth every penny! I like that they are easy to untangle and don’t knot up easily. The longer leash is perfect for training and allowing my pup a little illusion of independence. So far, the leash is intact. It hasn’t snagged or torn and it has survived a couple brief puppy chew sessions. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this leash again.

Pros
  • The leash itself is definitely thinner than I was expecting. But it does the job
Cons
  • The long leash can snag on obstacles, causing damage to surrounding objects

Convenient. And must have.

Love this for using to take puppy out to potty. She can roam around while I attach it to the door inside so I don’t have to stand out in cold. She has started to chew through the rope near her collar though.

Pros
  • 👍🏽
Cons
  • The leash can easily become tangled on the dog's legs or tail

Perfect for training

Purchased this long leash for recall training and an upcoming camping trip. Happy with the quality and look/feel of this product. Gets a bit tangled but I’m sure that would be the case with any long lead.

Pros
  • Very pleased, allows me to walk my dog and have him venture off and on command return to me it a must.
Cons
  • The rope may be too thin for larger dogs or strong pullers

Perfect for puppy in my review

We live on a busy street with no yard and the puppies leash was to small for her to play. Until we came upon this lease its a good length , sturdy and easy to hold when she wants to play and run . I know she is happy with the long leash.

Pros
  • Lightweight and easy to pack in a backpack or suitcase for travel
Cons
  • The rope may become discolored or faded over time

Loved it for the two days till it broke

The 50 ft rope broke in two days of having my 30lb dog on it. I and he loved the distance he had with it but we had to go back to 30ft cable tie out both. The rope just tore apart in half so I tied a knot and broke again in another spot two day after first break. I have a runner and Biter so he needs to be on a chain 100% I'm also out with my pups I have another that listens she does not need a tie down but always out with the pups in yard

Pros
  • Helps with agility training exercises, allowing the dog to explore further
Cons
  • It can be difficult to keep a grip on the rope during training sessions

Quality rope, coils easily. Comfortable and good book/handle.

Bought the 30’ to give my dog free reign around grass fields, while we work on recall. Rope coils easily, handle is comfortable, and the hardware seems quality. It’s not a particularly thick rope, so it may wear out from dragging across rocks and trees. Seems to be holding up well enough though. Dog gives it 4/4 woofs.

Pros
  • High Strength Nylon Rope Leash: Super light tie out check cord, this long lead is braided made of wear-resistant nylon. The joint of the rope is high density sewn by machine, easy to carry, the rope is strong and extra durable.
Cons
  • The rope can become tangled and create a safety hazard in an emergency situation

phenomenal quality good for me

i take my pup to park often to work on her recall training from a distance and this has been the perfect tool. i love the quality and its weight.

Pros
  • Training Leashes
Cons
  • The rope can become too hot to handle during summer months

Great, long leash! in my review

I'm training my Great Pyrenees to come when called, and this is an awesome way to give him room to roam while being able to keep him (somewhat) nearby. The leash is well made and has some stretch, which comes in handy when he gets to the end of it. There's been only a small amount of picks in the line, but they seem to not happen too often. Overall, great value for the price!

Pros
  • Works well for our purpose.
Cons
  • The rope can easily become tangled in bushes or trees

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Better for a medium to small dog

have two large breed dogs and while the length is great for the field, if they take off after a rabbit you get rope burn! the rope is too small to get any purchase. Constantly taking knots out of it . but that could be just the length . it works but bearly

Pros
  • June 22, 2020
Cons
  • The long leash may become entangled in outdoor furniture or equipment

Working on RECALL: my feedback

We have an 8-month-old Golden Retriever who doesn't like to come when called. We were traveling this summer and wanted her to have more freedom in parks etc but also didn't trust her to come when called (especially if crossing the path of a deer). We were able to allow her to run with this on (works great with a halter fastened to the top/back. If you fasten to a collar or the front it can get tangled up in the dogs' legs). It served its purpose and we will continue to use it for training as…

Pros
  • It does what it suppose to do. Good price and works great
Cons
  • Dogs can trip over the long rope, causing injury

Nice quality. Too heavy

My German short haired pointer is 38 pounds. Got this lead for her on land and in water. It's too heavy for her, especially once it's wet. And it does take a while to dry once it is wet.

Pros
  • Good to have while playing in a big lawn
Cons
  • It can be difficult to untangle if it becomes knotted
