A bit rougher feel than I like

I have a 30' long line from another company that is made from climbing rope and is very smooth and easy on my hands. I wanted a shorter rope as well, so I bought this one. The rope has a roughness to it which is uncomfortable on my hands as I feed it out for my dog. I'm returning it and buying another one that is made of climbing rope. Other than this issue, the leash was fine.

Pros
  • Good product...it will twist together...but I could not be using it correctly...Very sturdy
Cons
  • It may not be suitable for dogs with mobility issues

Perfect for the not so perfect circumstances.

It’s super light, sturdy, and manageable for my needs. I thought I would need 30ft. But 15 is more than enough. It doesn’t seem to bother my dog, overall happy with the product.I live in an association where there are no dog parks near by and my little guy is still in training. When by ourselves he’s obedient, when a distraction comes by, I can still restrain him if he can’t help himself.

Pros
  • Like almost everything except the black rubber pieces at each end slide around off the knots
Cons
  • The long leash can be distracting for other dogs during training sessions

tore after 2 walks on my review.

seemed like a decent rope. i don’t use it on sidewalks or streets. only use it in the empty lot by my house. it’s ripping in multiple places from where it drags. i figured that would happen on concrete. not on soft dirt.

Pros
  • Can be used as a tie-out line, so the dog gets some freedom while remaining safe
Cons
  • The rope may become frayed or damaged from excessive use
