This is my second or third iPearl MacBook case. As usual, everything is fine, apart from one annoying flaw noted by other reviewers: one of the clips on the back of the lower case catches the MacBook's plastic hinge, causing a distinct click/grid that sounds bad until towards damage. Since the body shouldn't do that at all and the radiator grille certainly can't be used for a hinge, I took a sharp knife and shaved off the clip until the creaking was hardly audible. I'm afraid if I shave a bit more this clip will no longer snap onto the MacBook, so I'll live with a minor annoyance from the hinge's contact noise. But a case designed specifically for a specific product should never have this problem from the start. From this point of view, this is a disappointment. Otherwise it works as intended.
