Incredibly easy to use, these clips are discreet and work as intended. We have cedar ceilings in the attic so the bottom section screws easily into the ceiling and fits snugly to the ceiling. We put our hanging cord in the slot, then screwed on the top and that's it. The screw cap is a little tricky to use - if loosened a bit it won't unscrew. However, this also means that it is very durable and will not fall apart over time. If you don't have wood ceilings I highly recommend using either a stud detector or a drywall anchor for extra strength (which are included). and we didn't use it).
