Review on πŸ–ŠοΈ Sewing Pkg of Hot Iron Transfer Pencils by Linda Diaz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good product! Here are some tips on how to use it. :)

I noticed in some of the 1 star reviews that people were saying that the pencil leads ran out too quickly/breaked too easily/poorly sharpened and I wanted to fix this problem. The lead in them is like a Prismacolor pencil, you can't press hard or it will eat your pencil. You have to be patient and press lightly, repeating several times, until it is as dark as you want. However, they are perfect for their purpose! I wouldn't recommend these if you expect very fine lines when transferring as they will melt onto the shirt and thicken a bit. But if you have even the bare minimum of artistic skill, you can go over it with whatever thickness of paint you want and just wash off the excess red! You can use a manual, non-electric pencil sharpener or the lead will crumble. When sharpening, ONLY move the sharpener while holding the pencil in your other hand. (That's because we tend to unintentionally wiggle the pen when we move it instead of the sharpener, leading to uneven sharpening and breakage.) Happy drawing, everyone! πŸ˜„
