Review on Color Changing Deionization Resin for Aquatic Life Mixed Bed by Cynthia Chacon

I don't know how to explain but I'll try The packaging is nice. It comes in a plastic zippered pouch in a foil pouch. I would recommend cutting carefully to avoid tearing the plastic for future storage. The product was well packaged and appears to be working well (perhaps too well). Here's the problem: This is my third (third) time filling a 45 gallon container with water and I haven't seen the DI change color yet. Typically after 90 gallons of BRS DI resin I see a canister of DI resin empty or half used. Yet here I am about to fill another 45 gallon container and still see no change. Any of the following 4 cases happen: I have a really good DI. My water must have changed a lot. BRS DI is not good. This DI doesn't change color... I'll fill another container and see if the DI changes because it's really weird. Another water change and it still hasn't changed color. I am returning this to BS. Update: I did two additional water changes and still no change. I have to trust that this is not a color change as stated on the packaging. That's why I give 2 stars for the packaging.
