My entertainment center was too far from an available outlet so two problems were solved at once, I had two splitters in series (connected together) and there was a risk of a short circuit circuit and fire hazard. Always make sure each plug is secure, if the terminals are pulled slightly out but still plugged in this platform will arc and burn your outlet, anything plugged into it, extension cords, anything, it can even your house burn down.
