I had to take a substitute for the first one I met. It is definitely necessary to change the packaging, cracked the letters "ev" that converge. Once I had a replacement, the same part was bent but not torn, so I decided to just put them on. When applied, the "clear" protective sticker left sticker residue on the letters and was difficult to remove. Finally, the letters really do make a big difference in the look of the truck. I've been wearing them for a few weeks now and the grip is good.
