I've had the TV for many years and hardly ever use it now that it's in our guest room, but somehow lost the remote when we last moved. I ordered this remote control (I found out and hoped for the best). It arrived with no instructions. Just a remote control. So I was nervous about not being able to plug it in, but I literally put in the two required AAA batteries and it worked! No stress. I just pointed it at the TV and hit the power button and it worked.
