Review on Van Heusen Short Sleeve Aviator by Marlin Atonyo

I no longer need these shirts for use in the aviation industry; but I've always liked old VanHusen shirts. Even many years after my flying career they were great work shirts: they looked stylish, they felt like irons, they were easy to care for, they were very comfortable and fresh as if they were mostly or all cotton. I took Epilets from my stash of old ones and wore them for years working in the air conditioning service industry. While they look good, they are not what I liked. The pockets, which are mostly synthetic, don't function like the old ones to comfortably carry a small pad (travel journal) and pen, and for aviators who need to hang wings and name tags, there's no reinforcement to withstand regular abuse. The fit is snug, which is rare these days.
