Although this is not a genuine Garmin part, it is worth the money. This works great if you're willing to do a little filing or sanding. The thing is. It is not polished or polished like a Garmin original. It will have some ruff due to the molding or casting process. I didn't mind because it took me less than five minutes to clean it out so it wasn't as tight. I don't think the Garmin part is worth twice the price. Also, I don't like this design chosen by Garmin, I prefer the old mounts but they don't work with the new GPS. I'm guessing they don't last longer (3 years) than the Garmin part, but I'll buy them again if I need more. They arrived just a few days after ordering (great service) so I can use my GPS straight away. Many Thanks.
