Review on Sportneer Adjustable Forearm Exerciser For Improved Wrist Strength And Grip - Hand Strengthener For Home Gym, Pro Athletes And Beginners by Greg Birchfield

Not too crazy about this.

I am a active workout person at the gym, so I am very familiar with the different exercises/equipment that are used for forearm/wrist strengthening. I decided to try out this forearm exerciser since I could easily use it at home for a quick workout. In addition, it easily fits in a backpack for travel. As I use this forearm exerciser, I can't help notice and feel the pressure that is exerted on the topside of my forearm. That fulcrum/cushion/strap really presses hard against your forearm. It is a bit uncomfortable to use this for a bunch of reps. Not sure if it is a good idea to put so much pressure on one spot of your forearm. Another item that I have is that as I move my hand in a downward motion, the skin on the topside of my wrist is prevented from naturally stretching because that cushion/strap presses so hard on your skin.To avoid this problem, move that strap/cushion away from your wrist.Overall, I am not too crazy about using this forearm exerciser. For me, it is much more effective and comfortable to use dumbbells or straight bar for wrist/forearm. However, for traveling, I would be ok with using this forearm exerciser since it is easy to carry.

Pros
  • ADJUSTABLE DESIGN: Perform regular and reverse wrist curls with the adjustable stabilizer pad, instruction included. TRY IT AT THE MINIMUM TENSION FOR THE FIRST TIME TO USE
Cons
  • May scratch or damage surfaces it is used on
