The tent is fun for kids. However, it is very cold inside. The fan blows cold air on them all the time of the game. We live in California and I wear a blanket under the tent when I play with them. I strongly advise against it. The fan is very light and often falls off. The holes in the fan are large enough for an adult's fingers to easily slip through when trying to turn the fan on or off. This is a terrible combination and I highly recommend avoiding the fan that Revain offers with this purchase.
