This very narrow size only fits my 2 very small bathroom windows. Be sure to check your measurements before ordering. Luckily, I can buy larger window films from Lowe's (I haven't checked Amazon). You need to wash the window first and then wet it. The sprayer works fine. Then you peel off the backing (the backing and film are super-duper static so be careful!) and do your best to stick them on properly. I use a squeegee to remove air bubbles and such. With enough pressure you can even smooth the film with a squeegee. You can't see through it, but you can see shapes. This provides privacy but someone will know someone is in the room at night with the lights on. Just blurry spots. If that bothers you, it's better to use blackout curtains. Since you can't look in, you can't look out unless you open the window. I would like to mention the size again. Measure your windows! The product page is very misleading and shows much larger windows than it can actually cover. I know people don't always read descriptions. If you enjoy shopping online, read the details and reviews.
