The Right Tool for the Job

I bought a used RAM 1500 with the TPMS light flashing. After physically inspecting the TPMS module, I assumed the tire sensors were faulty. Replaced sensors and I bought this to wake them up after installation. It worked like a charm, found all 4 sensors, but nothing happened after connecting to the OBD2 port. I had to update the software, talk to support service, even try a different cable, nothing helped. I was disappointed and went back. I later suspected that my TPMS module was faulty and checked again, it turned out that the previous owner had replaced it with the wrong part number. I ordered an OEM and that fixed the problem. In my experience it gets the job done, but I wish it was more complex and gave you more information.
