Review on 📏 IKKEGOL Stainless Steel Electronic Precision Micrometer by Anferny Pineda

As a CNC machinist I should have known better than to buy such a cheap tool but the positive reviews fooled me. I needed a 4" caliper for tight setups with limited space where my 6" calipers would not fit. The problem with this is that the top and bottom rails are rough sawn, not sanded. You can actually see saw cuts on these surfaces. This results in rough, jerky movements that don't inspire confidence in their accuracy. It might be fine for occasional, non-critical use, but it looks like I'll probably spend at least 5x more for my needs.
