Review on 🔋 MOOLSUN 12V 10W Solar Battery Charger - Trickle Charger, Portable Power Kit for Automotive, Motorcycle, Boat, Marine, RV by William Burnett

I use this panel with a cheap charge controller and OBD2 adapter to charge my car battery between infrequent trips. I like SAE connectors for connecting everything together, although the connectors don't enforce polarity so you have to check each device connected and use polarity adapters if necessary. (You can see the polarity of the connector in the product photos.) The included suction cups fold up and attach neatly to the back of the panel when not in use. The whole is very thin and light, lined with nylon fabric. Unfortunately, after a few months in the sun, the nylon fabric lining the panel began to degrade, forming a fine black fibrous dust that seeped everywhere. In the past I have seen sunlight brittle nylon straps; I thought a product intended for sun exposure could have sun protection. I would recommend this panel for temporary use, maybe for emergencies or camping, but prolonged exposure to the sun requires more durable materials. Perhaps a panel in a plastic case would be better.
