I ran this cable from an upstairs office to a downstairs living room at the opposite end of the house to overcome a weak WiFi signal. This was primarily for gaming, but now I also have the option of installing a mesh network and using this cable for the return trip. The cable was routed outside the house and through the underground. I chose this cable because it was designed for outdoor use and is future proof when I really need CAT6 bandwidth. The cable works for my use case, but it has an issue I'd like to know about. Inside is a plastic rod (for internal wire separation to support CAT6) which may break if the cable is bent less than 4 radii. I accidentally broke this spine in 3-4 places during installation. The cable is great for my purposes today as all my devices now run at a maximum speed of 1Gb/s, but I'm not sure if it will support the nominal CAT6 speed of 3Gb/s when I use it need in future. I would like the spine to be made of a more flexible material.
