I've had surgery on both my knees, twice. Now I have very little cartilage left and arthritis has become a part of daily life. This is the most supportive (slip on) brace I have ever used. It's comfortable and provides stability and support without being too bulky. The gel pad comes in handy when I need to get on my knees to work on something. (I'm an electrician). The braces breathes pretty well, and doesn't make me overly sweaty. The silicone feature inside the brace keeps it from sliding down my leg ALL DAY. The only problem is the plastic inserts on each side will break after a couple months. I've had two of these now and they both broke. I would say that if they could improve the inserts, this brace would have no competition.
