BajaWarrior Minibike

I bought this kit for the BajaWarrior minibike as I don't ride the bike enough to justify spending over $200 on a GTC kit made for this bike became. Overall decent quality, I noticed that the countershaft for the driven pulley bounces a bit when turning, but nothing too bad. If you are purchasing this kit for a warrior, be prepared to modify the mounting plate. I had to cut the underside of the back of the panel to allow it to sit over the bike frame. I also had to bend a few petals to create a gap. I've seen videos of people grinding down rear supports but I didn't have any for this kit which I was glad of. All hardware assumes that 1 bolt was the correct one to get a 5/16 24 2" bolt for the crankshaft. I also used old lock washers for assembly as these are not included in this kit. On the first test drive I was disappointed, when the top speed decreased, it turned out that the clutch was not fully closed, but partially pushed out. Loosening the throttle stop screw fixed this, allowing the engine to rev higher and the clutch to engage harder. It still doesn't seem to be all the way out though, got the bike up to 34mph in front of my house, might have continued if I stayed in it. The throttle response is also better, full throttle from a standstill lifts the front wheel off the ground. Overall a good kit for the money, if you don't ride enough to spend over £200 on a straight fit kit and have some mechanical skill, installing this on a bike is an easy task.
