Review on 🐶 Premium Padded Dog Collar: Soft Touch Collars Capri Collection - Genuine Leather Luxury for Dogs by Aliana Brown

To say I'm disappointed in this color would be an understatement. I bought a soft touch leash about a year ago. When it arrived I was a little worried about the material of the handle. While they would have you believe it's all leather, I was pretty sure it wasn't. But the thing is, the brown leash I bought a little over a year ago has held up pretty well. So in May of this year (2019) I ordered a 1.5 inch pink padded collar and black padded leash with an extra handle (poor design but that's another story). Again, I was concerned about the lining material used for the soft (against the skin) part of the collar. Apparently I had good reason to be concerned. The collar is only 2 months old and the edges are already frayed and are not holding up. When I take the collar off it's pretty clear that the lining is some sort of man-made polyurethane material. He breathes badly and wears badly. In fact, it seems to irritate my Weimaraner's throat. If they had used leather on the back of the collar it would have held up. Unfortunately it isn't. Therefore, I cannot recommend this product at all. It's really very sad because the product had such potential. The quality (if the part in contact with the skin were made of leather) would be great. Unfortunately it isn't. If I could return this collar and get a refund I would. I prefer to buy a nylon collar at a local pet store.
