Review on 🔓 Enhanced Filtration: Black Berkey Replacement Filters for Fluoride Removal by Joel Young

My white ceramic and fluoride filters that came with my Berky have been working great since I got them a year ago. I have these black ones that are being sold now, the water didn't run through the first time. The Revains replacement filters are absurdly fast compared to how long these filters normally take, and they dump an endless amount of white sediment into the lower reservoir, which never happened with my first filters. I've refilled the top tank about 5 times and it's still pouring white sediment. As other reviewers say, Berkey's quality has slipped and it seems to be running on momentum rather than quality products. For the trouble you put in last year and now constantly topping up and cleaning this thing (Berks will make you sick as organisms will eventually grow in them and release toxic crap into your water if you don't clean them every two months) , I could install and remove a reverse osmosis system dozens of times and it would cost me a lot less. The Berkys rep is undeserving, there are probably other companies selling this product that don't charge $200 for a couple of burned coconut shells squeezed into a cylinder (literally, what kind of filter is that).
