I bought this for a trip to Ireland knowing it rains there. I'm so glad I did. They are lightweight so carrying them around in your bag is not difficult. They have a drawstring hood which you know is valuable if you've ever worn a poncho without a drawstring and the hood flies off and then catches water like a rain bucket. The sleeves have elastic so they don't hang over your arms if you don't want them to. They were very durable; I used a poncho a few times during the trip and it held up great. I recommend it.
