My wife bought these to tidy up her pantry and to store a variety of items from flour, sugar to pasta etc. On receipt the item came in very nice packaging. When opened, all the containers were separated from the children, but since each child fits in the container you put them in, this wasn't a problem. Most lids were solid, while some had a double-hole lid that water could be poured from that was also watertight. The set had a lot of useful different sizes but it had 4 very small (1.5" x 1.5") containers which I don't find very useful for anything but that's just for me. The bins can be neatly stacked on top of each other when there are children in them, and they can be easily washed by pulling the children out. They definitely removed part of our pantry but they need more to finish the job.
