Not heavy nor wide enough for a regular 9ft umbrella.
The base was not heavy enough nor was it wide enough to support an umbrella. Our regular 9ft outdoor umbrella was constantly tipping over which was annoying and dangerous with kids playing in the backyard. We purchased a slightly wider and a bit heavier base which worked out well.
