Accidental work stoppage without warning - Locksmith

Well I've had this thing for a year now as a place to store some firearms and ammo and valuables. I opened it in the morning a few days ago, then went to open it in the evening and the yellow 'continue' light started beeping. Enter the combo again, squeak again. After several attempts, it beeped for 4 minutes. There was no low battery warning and this indicator does NOT beep. I didn't want to keep spare keys in the house because there were guns in there and I didn't want to risk the kids finding them. I figured the only thing that could go wrong is the battery life, but this has to be a solid system. Needless to say I need to get a locksmith to crack the safe. I'll change the batteries but I've rarely used them and didn't warn they were dead. Or worse, the safe is simply broken. So once you've paid the entrance fee, it may be pointless to continue. All this is very uncomfortable, to say the least. I would not order again.

Pros
  • EXTRA LARGE - This safe is extra large so you can safely store your money, jewellery, documents, passports, family heirlooms and more. Enjoy peace of mind knowing your valuable assets and possessions are safely locked away!
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
