Big! Except you can't turn off the beep.

Ordered and installed my safe and my code was set in less than 10 minutes. The only complaint I have is that it beeps every time you press the button. I sent a request to the manufacturer to help me disable this feature but they said it is built in and cannot be disabled. So, hypothetically, if there is an intruder in my house and I need to sneak into my room and get into the safe where my firearm is kept, as soon as I start pressing the buttons to open it, my location will be IMMEDIATELY made…

Accidental work stoppage without warning - Locksmith

Well I've had this thing for a year now as a place to store some firearms and ammo and valuables. I opened it in the morning a few days ago, then went to open it in the evening and the yellow 'continue' light started beeping. Enter the combo again, squeak again. After several attempts, it beeped for 4 minutes. There was no low battery warning and this indicator does NOT beep. I didn't want to keep spare keys in the house because there were guns in there and I didn't want to risk the kids…

At $109.99 this is a really good safe with a good value for money. Please note this is not the strongest safe and only weighs 41lbs not 49lbs as stated in the description.
