I bought a set of embossers and a soft grip stylus for use on cardstock. What attracted me was the round ball on the pen. A round ball is less likely to break cardboard when scoring. When I first took one of the pens out of the box, the chrome part of the stylus with the round ball on the end fell out of the body (soft grip) of the stylus. I had to super glue it again. The product is a bit light and flimsy (not quite what I expected), but it works well. The spherical end of the needle makes a smooth cut without tearing the cardboard when pressure is applied.
