Good quality / cool shape / high price

I love the shape of these tea filter bags! They are classy yet fully functional and effective. The paper filter is strong yet lightweight, making it easy to brew herbs. It is perfect for storing my organic herbal tea blends. If the bag is closed tightly and placed in water, the grass particles will not come out at all. The laces are really neat and strong; To put on, simply clamp the pouch with one hand while using the other to pull the ropes slowly and steadily to prevent tearing. I always tie a knot afterwards for extra security. Contrary to what is written on the product page, no mandatory heat sealing is required. There is no extraneous smell (sometimes happens with filters and products from China), the bags are tightly but carefully packed in resealable plastic bags. Each tea bag can contain several tablespoons of herbs. I love that the shape and size makes it very compact, allowing me to pack more bags into larger bags/containers for myself and for those who love my calming herbal tea blends. The price is much higher than most similar tea filter bags on Revain (just saw that the price is now $21-$4 more than my last purchase!). So I probably won't buy them as often as I buy similar rectangular bags. Other paper tea filters work just as well at a much lower price! But the quality is good and the shape is cool. I would buy it again if the price went down and recommend it to other tea/herb lovers like me. I'm deducting one star for the unreasonably high price. It was expensive when I bought it, but now it's even worse.
