I used this to replace the lower front shock absorber on a '96 Ford Ranger. After cutting off the remnants of the old stud and sanding it flush with the metal of the control arm, I drilled a 1/2" hole and installed it. Butt spacing and lug depth were perfect. I didn't need the two bushings that came with it as they are part of the new damper Great little part here.
