I have used electric blankets for many years and this is my biggest dislike. First, he is too small for a king and cannot compensate for his rigidity. Second, there is only one connected edge, so more of a two-layer coating that is not connected to itself; Straightening is an exercise in determining which bias fold is preferred at the moment and the heating effect is uneven. My husband is starting to complain about being used as a foot warmer (a few years ago it wouldn't have bothered him hmm). I give up.
