Review on Insect Lore Ant Farm Mountain by Justin Butler

Bought this for a summer project for my little 6 year old entomologist and we love it. His older brother (9) was also very interested in it. The hardest part was waiting for the ants to arrive after we sent the order coupon with the instructions. It took us about 2 weeks to get the ants but once we released them they went straight to work and we loved watching them making their tunnels, moving sand, eating etc. We fed our little ones with strawberry chunks, melon and carrots (just tiny chunks every few days) and that seemed to keep them going. The group lasted about 3 weeks and then died out with a difference of several days. It was a fun project and I highly recommend this product and process. We will definitely repeat this.
