Perfect for use in grain-free baking

I've sampled various silicone baking pans since going grain-free six years ago, and this is one of the best so far. Specifically, grain-free baking usually involves coconut flour, which notoriously sticks to any metal surface (even those that have been pre-greased). I'm super lazy and can't be bothered using parchment paper, and that's what's great about silicone pans . you just pour in bake. Then it pops out like a charm. However, silicone by nature is floppy and if you don't have some kind of hard rim, they're difficult to handle once you pour batter in. Other silicone pans tried to solve this by putting a metal edging, but if the metal is cheap, it rusts after awhile. That happened to two previous pans I bought. This model is great because the framed edge is covered so there's no exposed metal. I also love the design--white with colorful sprinkles. Many silicone baking pans and accessories come in an ugly red shade, so I was thrilled to find this variation.

Pros
  • The non-toxic and non-reactive nature of the silicone material used in this baking pan makes it safe for use with a wide variety of ingredients
Cons
  • The reinforced frame may rust, creating an unsightly appearance
