Review on 🔧 MotoRad 7420-195 Automotive Fail-Safe Thermostat with Enhanced SEO by Carnell Bollwitt

Cheaply made others say fine not working

Bought to replace my original thermostat on my Jeep Commander 06 4.7L, the original thermostat was still in good condition but I have replaced the water pump , so I decided to replace the radiator pipes and thermostat. Compared to the original thermostat, the Motorad failsafe motor feels very cheap. The padding is thin and seems to stretch easily. The safety device inlet is ¼ inch smaller than the original. This may seem minor, but I believe it means less coolant flow, which can result in a higher operating temperature and possible overheating. Finally, the metal case of the fail-safe device is thinner. Before installing I decided to look through more reviews and found several references on the internet of failsafe Motorad units that failed after only a few weeks of use. See for yourself in the Motorad Failover reviews and also visit the Jeep online forum. I ended up returning the motorcycle failsafe thermostat and reinstalling the OEM thermostat. To be honest I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I didn't actually install it.
