They gave it a try over the winter, during which they encountered a self-tapping screw with a press washer, pumped it up (it pumps swiftly, in a minute and a half), drove to a tire fitting business, and had a patch put on it. It does not pump a little, presumably due of the sub-zero temperature - with 2.1 bar set, the device stopped at 1.9, and I had to raise 2.3 a bit to obtain 2.1. It does not pump a little. There were concerns that it would catch fire while the engine was running, but those worries were unfounded; the apparatus is functioning well.
