I used this bag for making ramen broth. It worked GREAT! Very happy with this purchase. It works with all fish bones, kombu, and small floats that come from bone-in broth, not allowing any of them to escape into the broth when strained. I had a nice clear broth, not measured at all. I was also really surprised at how quickly the broth dripped through the strainer as it was so fine I thought it would take forever. But it was very quick and easy. The downside is the bag gets hot as hell but all bags will if you put cooking items in them lol. I just left it in a separate container to cool and then squeezed out the rest of the broth. Worked great. Also, the bag is very stern and held me, squeezing the daylight out of it, and the sharp bones sticking out of the bag didn't cause any holes.
