I bought these knives expecting to get what I paid for, cheap knives at a low price. Well, they're not made with the best materials and manufacturing methods, but they WORK. Very sharp out of the box. I have knives that cost the same as this whole set, but they're not nearly as sharp when they come out of the box. Of course I also have high-quality forged knives that I laugh about, but that's not a fair comparison. Would recommend to anyone looking for a set of high performance knives at a great price. They hold up very well in the short time (but heavy use) I've had with regular sharpening. If there are any obvious flaws, I will update the review. So far so good.
