I am 66 years old and suddenly my teeth are starting to age too. Pity! The hygienist advised me to get an irrigator, but I remembered the ones from years ago, they were noisy and took up too much counter space. It is neither one nor the other. I'm surprised how quiet it is. It is well balanced and feels well made. I like that the floss head rotates to find the right angle. I have to admit that I haven't figured out all the variations of settings yet (there are a lot of them), but I'm sure I will. The included manual has an explanation that I just need to read again. I still use it with the original charger, another plus. So far I'm very happy with this purchase and hope it lasts a long time.
