This scale is great if you have pets that need frequent weighing and hate going to the vet. It's feature-rich and can weigh pounds and ounces, ounces, grams, kilograms and what I would call the digital pounds (pounds and tenths, not pounds and ounces) that my vet uses. One feature that has helped me a lot is the ability to place a pet bed on the scale and subtract its weight so the scale with the pet bed on it reads zero. I have a cat who is terrified of scales (reminds him of traumatic vet visits) and the only way to get him on the scale without a full stroke is to put his bed on the scale and then weigh him. My husband also likes scales for weighing fishing gear and other weight limit flying gear. It's also handy for weighing packages and more. Just don't put anything over 30 pounds on it.
